Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on trusted, industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption and access controls in place by default.
We follow UK and GDPR best practices for handling personal and business data — only collecting what we need to run the product, and never selling it to third parties.
Security practices
- • Encrypted in transit. All traffic between you and WrkGenie runs over HTTPS / TLS.
- • Secure authentication. Sessions are protected with industry-standard authentication and session handling.
- • Access controls. Only authorised team members can access production systems, and only when needed for support or maintenance.
- • Continuous updates. Dependencies and infrastructure are kept up to date and monitored for issues.
- • Secure payments. Card data is handled by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) — we never see or store your full card details.
Your data belongs to you
Anything you put into WrkGenie — customers, jobs, invoices, payments — stays yours. You can export it at any time, and there are no exit fees or hostage tactics if you decide to leave.
No contracts. No lock-ins. Cancel in a couple of clicks whenever you want.
Backups and reliability
We maintain regular backups of customer data to help protect against accidental loss and to support continuity of service.
We don't make formal uptime guarantees we can't back up — but we monitor the platform actively and respond quickly when something needs attention.
What we don't claim
We're a focused UK SaaS for service businesses, not an enterprise platform. We don't claim certifications we don't hold (no SOC 2, no ISO 27001 — yet). What we do is run the product carefully, protect your data, and tell you the truth about how it works.
