Refund Policy

1. Overview
WrkGenie is a digital subscription service operated by Autchara Norris, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Inc. as our Merchant of Record, and refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle’s policies and the terms set out below.
Access to the platform is provided immediately after signup, which is why refunds work differently from physical goods. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and what to expect.
2. Free trial
WrkGenie offers a 14-day free trial. No card details are required to start your trial. No charge is taken during the trial period.
- No charge is taken at signup.
- You may cancel at any time during the 14-day trial from your account settings.
- After 14 days, access is paused until you add a payment method and choose a plan. No automatic charges are taken.
- No payment is required unless you choose to activate a paid subscription.
3. Monthly subscriptions
- Monthly subscriptions auto-renew at the start of each billing cycle.
- Once a monthly charge has been taken, it is generally non-refundable.
- Cancelling stops future billing. You retain access until the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for unused time.
4. When we will refund
We will issue a refund where:
- You have been charged in error (e.g. a duplicate or incorrect charge).
- A technical or billing fault on our side has caused you to be overcharged.
- We are required to refund you under applicable consumer protection law.
5. Additional refund requests
For refund requests that fall outside Section 4, we will work with Paddle to assess whether a refund is appropriate. Paddle, as our Merchant of Record, has final authority over payment refunds and disputes. Any approved refund will be processed by Paddle in accordance with their policies.
6. Digital service
WrkGenie is a digital subscription service. Access to the platform begins immediately after you subscribe and set up your account. Paddle, as our Merchant of Record, applies applicable consumer protections based on your location.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Raising a dispute
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, contact us as soon as possible at hello@wrkgenie.com. You can also raise a dispute directly with Paddle, our Merchant of Record, or with your card issuer. Applicable consumer protection laws govern the time limits for raising payment disputes.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@wrkgenie.com and include:
- The email address on your WrkGenie account.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- The reason for your request.
Approved refunds are processed via Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record, and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
9. Relation to our Terms of Service
This Refund Policy forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service. Where there is a conflict, the Terms of Service take precedence except on matters specifically covered here.
